 Presentations

On Tuesday we made our presentation about The War in Ukraine and how different groups and organizations are helping Ukrainians fleeing their country for their safety. Other give Supplies and AID to those who are still in the country fighting. Each Presentation had their own subject they had to talk about, like immigration, or Healthcare, and the unique way of showing what people are doing to help others.

Immigration

The first Presentation talked about how Ukrainians are going to other countries for their safety and which people can leave the country. They explain that a lot of Ukrainians are going to neighboring countries, like Poland, or countries that are over seas like the Unites States and Canada with temporary Visas seeking asylum. But only woman and Children can leave, but men that are between 18 and 60 have to stay to fight. There are some exceptions, of which men are allowed to leave. Men that have 3 or more kids, who are disabled, who have medical conditions, are allowed to go with their families. Some families send their children to other countries with relatives to live until the war is over. Group 1 did a good job presenting, with both the way they explain their point, as well as the images of people fleeing the country and video of families explaining their experiences. The group did a good job and it was all well organized and planned.

Schooling

The second presentation talked about Schooling and education for kids. They explained how some schools had to be shut down bc they were either boomed or are being used as shelters. Children have had to readapt to online learning or parents to teach them at home. Some students who are college or study abroad have had to leave because of the dangerous situation. We also saw which organization were helping out with providing students with supplies they need to learn. Group two did a great job presenting this. Both with the way they presented, the tone of their voices and organization, as well as with visuals, images and interviews with families, children and teachers. They did an amazing job with their presentation.

Special needs

The third presentation was the one I helped on. Ours talked about health care and assistance with special needs. We explained how some organizations helped with people who have disabilities or are mentally challenged, providing them with medical assistance and a place were they can be safe. Some of the examples we provided were interviews with people that had special needs or that had someone in their family that had special needs. My group did an amazing job presenting, they sounded confident and they had a good tone of voice, with good coordination. They did amazing.
